Myg is a superhero in the future of the DC Comics universe. He is a master of every form of martial arts to have been developed by the 30th and 31st centuries. Following in the footsteps of Val Armorr, he became the second individual to assume the identity Karate Kid, and briefly served as a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes.

Fictional character biography

[edit]

Myg is a member of the ruling council of the planet Lythyl who Timber Wolf chose to succeed Val Armorr as Karate Kid.[1][2] He subsequently enrolls in The Legion Academy and joins the Legion of Substitute Heroes.[3]

Post-Infinite Crisis

[edit]

At some point, Myg joins the Legion of Super-Heroes.[4][5] He later becomes disillusioned by the discord between the Legionnaires, particularly Shrinking Violet and Chameleon Girl.[6] Years later, he becomes Lythyl's representative in the United Planets before being killed by Legion of Super-Villains member Radiation Roy.[7]

Powers and abilities

[edit]

Like his predecessor Val Armorr, Myg is a master of every documented form of martial arts to have been developed by the 30th and 31st centuries. He possesses the ability to sense the weakest spot in an object and his skill in hand-to-hand combat is seemingly superhuman, allowing him to simulate super-strength blows. He can severely damage extremely hard and strong materials such as metal and stone with a single blow.
